3 of 3What Jambu collects
Jambu is a Chrome extension that notices the shape of your working day. It collects high-level activity information only.
- Active domain
- Timestamps
- Session duration
- Idle state
Jambu stores the active domain rather than the full URL. It records that a session was on example.com — not the path, the query, or the rest of the address.
What Jambu does not collect
Jambu does not collect any of the following:
- Page contents
- Keystrokes
- Passwords
- Credentials
- Form inputs
- Private messages
- Screenshots
- Clipboard contents
How activity information is used
Activity information is used for routine learning and intervention timing. Jambu looks at when you work, for how long, and where you pause, so it can decide whether a Care Moment is worth showing — and when.
Where the data lives
Jambu runs on two services:
Supabase
Database and authentication.
Render
API hosting.
Analytics events
Jambu logs analytics events to understand how the product behaves. Those events do not contain:
- Domains
- URLs
- Page contents
- Email addresses
- Authentication tokens
- Passwords
- Free-form user content
How long data is kept
No fixed retention periods are currently defined for Jambu data. There is no automatic expiry schedule to point to. Until retention periods are defined, the controls below are how you remove your data.
Your controls
You can do all three of these at any time:
Export your data
You can export your current Jambu data at any time.
Delete your history
You can delete your activity history at any time.
Delete your account
You can delete your account and associated Jambu data at any time.
Publisher and contact
Jambu is published by an individual — there is no company or other legal entity behind it.
For any question about this policy, or to ask for an export or a deletion, write to shubsara@gmail.com.
