How Jambu works
It observes context, then cares — quietly.
Observe
Active sessions, inactivity, and session length — signals only. Nothing you type or read is seen.
Understand
Over days, Jambu maps your real rhythm — when you focus, when you stall, when you're done.
Care
A timely, minimal nudge — a stretch, a break, or a quiet “you're done for now.” No guilt, ever.
A typical workday
Three moments, start to finish
Tall bars are sessions, flat ones are idle time. No page, no title, no text.
Observed
notes.example active since 09:04 · no idle since you started
Understood
Your weekday deep-work window opens around 09:00. You're in it.
Care
Nothing. No nudge is the right care moment here — Jambu stays quiet.
Never stored: the document title, the words you typed, the tab you were just on.
How Jambu compares
The difference is what gets watched.
A lot of software calls itself a productivity helper. The gap between most of it and Jambu is not polish — it is how wide a net the tool casts, and who gets to look.

When you stop
The left-hand column describes a category, not any particular product. Tools differ a great deal — most do some of these and not others — so read the policy of the tool you are actually using.
Jambu is not invisible either. Your account and the domains you visit are stored in a Supabase database, with the API on Render. What it does not hold is what you read or write: no page contents, no keystrokes, no screenshots.
Questions
The things people ask first.
Short answers, and the same words the privacy policy uses.
Four things: whether a tab is active, when you go idle, how long a session runs, and the domain you are on. It keeps the active domain rather than the full address, so the shape of your day is visible and the pages themselves are not.
No. Page contents, keystrokes, form inputs, passwords, private messages, screenshots and clipboard contents are not collected at all.
It works from the first day, and gets closer over the next week or two as the same patterns repeat. Where it is unsure, it stays quiet rather than guessing.
In a Supabase database, with the API running on Render. That is why Jambu does not claim that nothing ever leaves your browser — it claims only that what leaves is time, idle state, session length and the domain.
Yes. Pause or snooze at any time, adjust your preferences, export your data, delete your activity history, or delete your account and the data that goes with it.
